IT Project Manager

Location: Hertfordshire with 3 days WFH

Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 + Excellent Benefits

My client, a highly regarded organisation based in Hertfordshire, is looking to hire an IT Project Manager to join their growing delivery team. This is a company that genuinely puts its people first and has been voted one of the best companies to work for in 2025, backed up by one of the strongest benefits packages in the market, more holiday, larger pension scheme, enhanced parental leave and more.

This role would suit an IT Project Manager who enjoys delivering a variety of technical projects end-to-end, while working in an environment that values development, progression, and long-term careers rather than short-term delivery only.

Role:

  • As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
  • Projects will span a range of technical areas, including:
  • Infrastructure and cloud-based projects.
  • Networking and connectivity initiatives.
  • Office moves and site relocations.
  • System upgrades, migrations, and refreshes.
  • You will work closely with technical teams, third-party suppliers, and internal stakeholders, taking ownership of planning, budgets, risks, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing multiple IT projects from initiation through to completion.
  • Owning project budgets, timelines, and reporting.
  • Coordinating internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Identifying and managing risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Communicating clearly with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ensuring projects align with wider business objectives.

About You:

  • Proven experience working as an IT Project Manager.
  • Comfortable delivering projects across infrastructure, cloud, and networking.
  • Strong organisation and communication skills.
  • Confident managing budgets and project governance.
  • Able to balance structure with flexibility in a fast-moving environment.
  • Formal project management qualifications (PRINCE2, Agile, etc.) would be beneficial but are not essential if you can demonstrate solid delivery experience.

What's On Offer:

  • This is a company that truly values its staff and invests heavily in their people. You’ll be joining an award-winning business.
  • One of the best benefits packages on the market, including enhanced pension, parental leave, and bonus.
  • Flexible and hybrid working.
  • Clear progression paths and long-term career development.
  • Ongoing support with training and professional development.
  • A supportive, inclusive culture where people enjoy coming to work.

If you’re looking for an IT Project Manager role where your contribution is recognised, your development is supported, and you can build a long-term career within a respected organisation, this is an excellent opportunity.
