JIra service management administrator / consultant

Location: Fully remote

Contract: Outside of IR35

Rate: £500-£600 per day

Duration: 3 month contract with possible extension


 My client is looking to hire an experienced Jira Service Management (JSM) Administrator / Consultant. The business is looking for someone to take ownership of their service management platform and help drive best practice across the organisation.

This role is well suited to someone who has strong hands-on experience with JSM and enjoys both the technical build and working closely with stakeholders to design effective solutions.


Role:

  • Build and configure a JSM service desk from the ground up (portals, request types, workflows, SLAs, automation).
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
  • Administer and optimise the JSM platform, including permissions, integrations and reporting.
  • Improve and streamline service management processes across the business.
  • Provide training, documentation and ongoing support to users and teams.


Technical Experience:

The ideal candidate will have strong, hands-on experience across:

  • Jira Service Management (essential).
  • Workflow configuration, SLAs, automation and request management.
  • Jira / Confluence administration.
  • Atlassian plugins (e.g. ScriptRunner, Automation).
  • Experience working in Cloud environments (preferred).
  • Integrations with third-party tools and APIs (desirable).


About You:

  • Proven experience working with Jira Service Management in a hands-on capacity.
  • Experience building or significantly improving a service desk environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


 Please note: To be considered you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC).
